battleship3.jpg This is one place that I will never get to see because there is no wheelchair access onto the ship. Even if one was to maneuver onto the steep boarding  gang way, you could not venture off the deck area because the different levels are accessible by ladders and portalways. I did enjoy looking at the Ship. Although, there are some areas by the peir beyond the enterance to the Battleship that you may be able to see. A hanger that occupy PT Boats (Patrol Torpedo Boats); a landing pad where you can see a Huey hellicopter and a Trojan airplane.

Battleship Cove gets ONE STAR for it is not at all wheelchair accessible. I don’t think that any changes could make this handicap accessible for wheelchairs. It’s just one of those things that I’ve learned to accept.
