My Aunt Nancy came to visit me today, as she does every Sunday. It was such a beautiful day, with a feeling of spring in the air, that we decided to fly a kite. My Aunt, friends and I headed to Benny’s in Raynham to purchase a kite and were pleased to find this Benny’s is very wheelchair accessible and friendly!

Parking is easy for there are handicap parking spaces located right in front of the entrance. The entry doors are my favorite kind of automatic doors for they open wide as soon as I approach. I had no problem wheeling throughout the store because the aisles are all spacious and not cluttered with displays like some stores are. The cashier counter is of a perfect height for my wheelchair and easy to complete any transaction. All the employees working in this store were very helpful, friendly and kind.

Benny’s has a great choice of many fun kites. We picked out two kites; one for me and one for Cole, my new baby cousin. My Aunt Nancy is Cole’s grandma and very proud of him as am I.

We then traveled to Gertrude Boyden Wildlife and Nature Refuge where we met my cousin, Chrissy and baby Cole. We had a lot of fun and laughs flying our kites even when one got caught in a tree :>)
