I went to Best Buy in North Dartmouth last night as I wanted to get a new Blue Ray DVD.  I did a wheelchair accessibility review while shopping for a new DVD.

There are a lot of handicapped parking spaces in the parking lot right up front. When entering the store I was glad to see automatic doors. This makes it very easy for someone in a wheelchair to get inside with no assistance. The restroom has a large wheelchair accessible stall with all the safety bars and the wheelchair accessible sink has covered pipes.  It has all ADA requirements and I had no problem getting around the restroom in my wheelchair.
 
When I checked out at the register I did have a hard time with the ATM/Credit Card machine. It was set too far back and with my vision problem I needed help to sign my name and to reach the machine. When I did a wheelchair accessibility review of the  Best Buy - Taunton and had trouble with that ATM/Credit Card machine, Brain Dewey the nice manager of that store actually wrote me and let me know that he made the changes and moved the ATM/Credit Card machine closer so a person in a wheelchair can reach it. I hope the North Dartmouth store will make this easy change as well.  It would be a great help to all their customers who are in wheelchairs
 
I give the North Dartmouth Best Buy Store FOUR STARS. They can earn the Fifth Star if they move their Credit Card/ATM machine closer so it’s accessible to ALL customers.
