Yesterday I was discharged from
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where I was recuperating from emergency surgery of a perforated gallbladder and pneumonia for the past two weeks.
During this time I was intubated and on a vent for nine days. I received the BEST FIVE STAR CARE AND TREATMENT from all the Doctors, Nurses and Respiratory Therapists who took care of me on the TSICU (Trauma Surgical ICU), MICU (Medical ICU) and Medical Floor. All were very kind, sensitive, caring and kept me as comfortable and pain free as possible.
I want to THANK my Surgeon, Pulmonary, Medical Doctors and Nurses for taking great care of me. I especially want to THANK Maryanne and Lynne, my Singing Respiratory Therapist for the sunshine they brought into my life. I also want to THANK my Family and Friends for their LOVE and SUPPORT!!
I am thrilled to be back in my own home and will be resting for awhile and look forward to once again traveling and advocating ‘To help make the world more sensitive, respectful, safer and accessible to all.”
Once again Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center deserves FIVE STARS for the compassionate and expert care they provide to all their patients.
Thank You all for your Prayers and Get Well Wishes for Kenny.
Sincerely,
Kenny Cieplik
