Today, my mom, Tony, Amanda and I traveled to Briggs Nursery Garden and Home Center in North Attleboro. It’s that time of year to once again shop for flowers, vegetables, pots, birdfeeders etc. for our yards. Again I find Briggs Nursery to be the most beautiful and wheelchair accessible nursery and garden center in all of New England!
Briggs Nursery Garden and Home Center, a family owned business, takes much pride in excellent customer service. Every imaginable flower, perennial, vegetable, shrub, tree, lawn care, bird, home, garden supply plus is available here.
A Café, which is open daily from 9am to 5pm, is here too! You can purchase sandwiches, deserts and drinks and enjoy dining on their patio. The McBriggs Petting Zoo, located on the property is fun to visit too.
Today, while visiting Briggs Nursery, I met Tedy Bruschi of the New England Patriots. Tedy was also shopping here at Briggs with his family for flowers for his yard. I think the world of Tedy Bruschi for he had the strength and courage to come back and play NFL football after suffering a stroke in 2005. He has also become a strong advocate for stroke victims. Go Tedy!!!
My mom bought some beautiful flowers, pots, herbs and vegetables for my deck. My favorite is an Hibiscus Tree, with deep red flowers I placed on my front porch.

Here’s a picture of my vegetables, herbs and flowers from Briggs on my deck.
Briggs Nursery Garden and Home Center still get FIVE STARS for wheelchair accessibility. I can’t imagine there could ever be a nursery that is more wheelchair friendly accessible than Briggs!
