Recently when Ric, Amanda and I were at  Providence Place Mall we stopped to have lunch at one of my favorite places, Cafe at Nordstrom. It’s a really great place to eat and the food is FANTASTIC and the prices are very reasonable too.

The Café at Nordstrom is located in the rear of the store on the 3rd level. Nordstrom has spacious elevators so accessing this floor is easy. The entry doors leading to the cafe are always kept wide open. Once inside you’ll see the service counter and a tray line that you place your try on that leads all the way to the cashier. The tray line is of a wheelchair height and you place your order with the employee standing behind the counter as you go along and choose what you’d like.

Once you have ordered you are given a ticket with your number and order on it. You then go to the cashier and pay for you order. The cashier’s counter is of a perfect wheelchair height; I paid for my order; my friends and I all got our drinks and went to a table. Once at the table you put your ticket in the center and a server takes the ticket and then brings your order over to the table when it’s ready.

While I waited for my order I enjoyed the beautiful view of the RI State House, which I’m told is done like the White House in Washington DC.

All the tables at the Nordstrom’s Cafe are of a perfect wheelchair height. Once our order was ready a very nice server bought it to us at our table. We all enjoyed our delicious affordable meal. The service was friendly and quick. You really should try this place out. It’s one of our favorites when we come to this mall.

There are no restrooms inside the Cafe but there are restrooms located on the same level in Nordstrom which are a short wheel from the café. There is a private single room wheelchair accessible/family restroom that is spacious, wheelchair accessible and fully ADA compliant.
