I went to the Comcast Center in Mansfield to see the New Kids On The Block concert. I thought people would like to know how handicapped accessible the Comcast Center is. I am going to start with the the handicapped parking, it was very close to the entrance and there were plenty of parking spots. There were ramps from the parking area into the concert and they were perfect for my wheelchair.
To enter the seating area you have to go through a gate and it was plenty wide enough for my wheelchair to fit through with no trouble at all. Although I did need someone to hold it open for me. Once inside the seating area there were ushers to help us to the handicapped seating area. Also the isles to get to the seats were a great width so I had no trouble at all getting there. The handicapped seats were in a great spot so we could see the concert perfectly.
The restrooms were handicapped accessible. The door leading into the restroom was plenty wide enough for me to fit through. There were grab bars in the handicapped stall and there was plastic covering under the sinks. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The lighting was also was good for the visually impaired.
I give the Comcast Center in Mansfield FIVE STARS for handicapped accessibility. I definately would go back for another concert. My experience there was awesome!
