Yesterday I had two post surgical doctor appointments with my wonderful doctors near  Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and stopped at the Dunkin Donuts located on Brookline Avenue between my appointments. I love Dunkin Donuts coffee and found this Dunkin Donuts wheelchair accessible with only a few obstacles.

There is a double entry door you will need help with opening for it is not automatic. Inside is spacious with plenty of room to maneuver your chair.

The cashier counter is of a good wheelchair accessible height and I had no problem reaching it to order and pay for my coffee. The counter with the condiments is of an accessible height and I had no problem reaching the straw for my drink.

There are only 3 small tables which are of an accessible height. The tall bar-style counter in front is NOT wheelchair accessible for it is too high for me to reach.

There is no restroom inside this Dunkin Donuts so if you need to use a restroom you are out of luck.

I give this Dunkin Donuts THREE STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the other Two Stars they would need to install automatic entry doors so a customer in a wheelchair can independently enter and exit; and lower a section of the tall bar-style counter to a wheelchair accessible height.
