factory-of-terror-001.jpgYears ago when my dad took me to The Factory of Terror I was very disappointed that I couldn’t get in because it had stairs and no wheelchair access. Ric, Kate and I went to the Factory of Terror last night and I am happy to say that Factory of Terror  is now very wheelchair accessible!!

factory-of-terror-008.jpgA parking lot is conveniently located in front of the building. When my friends and I arrived, the parking lot attendant directed us to park in the front of the lot, which was left available for handicap parking. Once I got out of the van the attendant took to us over to a wheelchair lift that is located next to the stairs that lead to the entry door. This lift was installed so persons in wheelchairs could enjoy the Factory of Terror. The wheelchair lift is large enough to fit me and my friend and up we went.

factory-of-terror-006.jpgOnce inside I bought my tickets at the ticket booth which is of a good height for my wheelchair. The Factory of Terror is open daily September 20 to October 31, 2008  from 8:00-11:00 PM. Admission cost varies from $17 to $20 depending on the day you come and Children (under 10) are $12. You can check costs for specific dates on their website.  $3.00 coupons are available on their website that are valid Sunday-Thursday.

After purchasing our tickets my friends and I were directed to the front of the line and a very nice tour guide told me that he would be taking me on my tour. I was given my own personal tour with my friends!

factory-of-terror-007.jpgThe floors throughout the Factory of Terror are all smooth  and easy to wheel my wheelchair and they looked fairly new to me.  I got to see all the scary displays and all the haunted areas that are set up for this haunting experience! I had no problems getting though this attraction and I enjoyed it very much. All the staff were wonderful and very friendly.

I would recommend the Factory of Terror to all who enjoys a good haunted experience and scare. My friends and I got scared a few times. It was a great experience.

I give the Factory of Terror FIVE STARS for wheelchair accessibility.
