foot-shops-021.jpgWhile Kellie, Kevin and I were traveling down Newbury Street a few weeks ago, we strolled by Footstock, another store on this street that is not wheelchair accessible.

Footstock specializes in shoes with style and comfort. The front of the building has a staircase leading down to the entry door of the store. Kellie went in to ask the employees if there was another entrance for me to access the store. Sadly there is not.

Kellie told me that the three female employees she spoke with were very nice and told her that with a twenty four hour advanced notice, by phone they would make arrangements for persons in a wheelchair to possibly use their entrance in the rear of the store and enter from their stock room. They also told her that all their shoes can be purchased online at their website.

I give Footstock ZERO STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn any Stars, they would need to install an accessible ramp or a wheelchair lift.
