frienlys-009.jpgYesterday, my friends and I traveled to TD Bank North in Plymouth to cash a check because it’s where CSI does their banking. While in Plymouth, we stopped for lunch at Friendly’s and were pleased to find it is very wheelchair accessible.

There are plenty of handicap parking spaces, conveniently close to the entry door. There are two sets of doors, you will need help opening for neither are automatic. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who kindly held the second door open for me.

freindliesplym.jpgLocated in this Friendly’s are booths and tables. All the tables are wheelchair accessible and of a perfect height for my chair. My chair fit wonderfully. The booths are also accessible because my chair fits underneath and the aisles are wide enough so my chair doesn’t stick out and block access for others.

The restrooms are spacious, wheelchair accessible and fully ADA compliant. 

This Friendly’s, like most others I’ve been to, is a great place to go to for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just an ice cream. The prices are reasonable and the service is almost always friendly and quick.

I give Friendly’s in Plymouth FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star, they would need to install automatic entry doors so a person in a wheelchair can enter independently!
