h-m-029.jpgWhile Kellie, Kevin and I were at Legacy Place we stopped at H&M. This H&M store only sells woman’s clothing and I wanted to look for a birthday gift for my cousin so I went inside. I found H&M a very wheelchair friendly and accessible store to shop.

h-m-028.jpgThere is plenty of handicap parking available in the Legacy Place parking lot right in front of the store. The entrance of H&M has two sets of double entry doors that are not automatic; Kellie held both sets of the doors open while Kevin pushed my manual chair inside.

Once inside I was delighted to find the H&M store is very spacious and very wheelchair accessible. I found no problem maneuvering through the aisles and could easily reach all the clothing on display. The cashier counter is of a perfect accessible. The sales persons are all very kind, helpful and courteous. The dressing rooms have a larger handicap room that is spacious and fully ADA compliant.

I give H&M at Legacy Place FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star they would need to install an automatic entry door so a customer in a wheelchair can enter and exit this store independently.
