harborside-cafe-sept-1-2010-007.jpgBefore boarding our Boston Harbor Cruise Whale Watch, my mom, friends and I stopped for a bite to eat at Harborside Cafe located right on Long Wharf. This cafe which is operated by Boston Push Cart is partially wheelchair accessible.

harborside-cafe-sept-1-2010-009.jpg Harborside Cafe offers fast food which is freshly prepared and boxed lunches you can take with you. The front counter where you place and pay for your food order is too high for me to reach so Ric helped me hand the cashier my money for lunch.

harborside-cafe-sept-1-2010-010.jpgThe counter where you pick up your food order is of a good wheelchair accessible height and I had no problem reaching it. We didn’t see any tables to sit so we took our lunch to a table close by.

I give Harborside Cafe at Longwharf FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star they would need to lower a section of the front counter where you place your food order to a wheelchair accessible height.
