heavenly-1.jpg My friend and I went to the Heavenly Restaurant for dinner and to rate their wheelchair accessibility. There are handicapped parking spaces in the parking lot located close to the front door. There are no automatic doors.  The doors are wide enough for my wheelchair to fit through, but it would be hard for someone in a wheelchair to enter alone. I was lucky to have a friend with me who could help me get in through the door.
 
heavenly-3.jpgThe aisles are a little narrow due to the dinner type setting, but wide enough for a my wheelchair to fit through.  The tables are at the right height for my or any wheelchair. The lighting is sufficient for someone visually impaired.

heavanly-2.jpgThe restroom doors are not wide enough for a wheelchair to enter.  Luckily, I did not have to use the restroom!!  The toilet and sink are a good height but there is just not enough space for a wheelchair to maneuver around.  One more thing, there is no protective coating around the piping under the sink which is now ADA required. Aside from not being wheelchair accessible the restrooms are very clean.

The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food given.  Yes, I definitely would go back again even though it is hard for someone in a wheelchair.

 I give Heavenly Restaurant TWO STARS for wheelchair accessibility. They can earn the other Three Stars by installing automatic entry doors, making the restroom door wider so a wheelchair can fit through door and place protective covering on the exposed  pipes under the accessible sink in the restroom.
