My mom, Ric, Amanda and I stopped at Joe’s Fresh Seafood to buy some fresh haddock for dinner and were pleased to find it fully wheelchair accessible. Joe’s Fresh Seafood is also a great place to find the freshest catch of the day!
I’ve always loved to eat fresh haddock a few times each week because it’s healthy and good for my diet. It’s especially important for me to eat a lean and healthy diet now after recently having my perforated gallbladder removed at
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Plus I lost 17 lbs when I was in the hospital and want to maintain a healthy weight. While buying our fresh haddock I was delighted to see Sue, a wonderful nurse who used to take care of me!
Joe’s Fresh Seafood is a mobile trailer that is parked in the parking lot of
Twin River Farm in East Taunton. Joe’s is open Tuesday-Friday from 9am-6pm. There are two handicap parking spaces in the parking lot. Access is easy because the counter where you place your order is set outdoors!
The counter is of a good wheelchair accessible height. The female employee is very kind, courteous and friendly. The service is fast and fantastic. Joe’s Fresh Seafood gets their fresh fish directly from fishermen out of New Bedford which is why their seafood is really fresh & delicious! Plus the prices are reasonably low!
I give Joe’s Fresh Seafood FIVE STARS for wheelchair accessibility and FIVE STARS for having the freshest seafood around with great prices and fast and friendly service.

I used to get fresh crabs when down in Devon UK, my uncle would jump on a friends boat at the dockside, grab a crab and put it the the boot of the car .
When we got back to his we would let it run around the lawn, then eat it that night. I think that’s what they call ‘fresh seafood’ lol
