Kellie, Kevin and I headed back to Legacy Place for we find it a very wheelchair friendly and accessible outdoor shopping mall. While here, we stopped for lunch at Legal C Bar, a new place owned by Legal Seafoods and we found good wheelchair accessible except for the entrance.

There are plenty of handicap parking spaces throughout the Legacy Place parking lot. The entrance to Legal C Bar has a Revolving Door that is NOT wheelchair accessible. There are two doors next to the revolving door yet both doors are kept locked. The hostess had to unlock and open one of the side doors from the inside in order for me to enter.

There is plenty of room to maneuver my chair. There are plenty of accessible tables and booths throughout the entire restaurant. The booths are accessible because one side has a permanent bench seat with removable chairs on the other side where a person in a wheelchair can sit. Our waitress was very sensitive, kind and courteous; and the food and service was great. The bar is not wheelchair accessible for there is no section with a lower accessible counter as the bars and restaurants have at Showcase Cinema de Lux Legacy Place.

The restroom is spacious, wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. The sink in the restroom is really cool but not accessible. Yet the handicap stall is has its own accessible sink and is fully ADA compliant; however, the soap dispenser is a little out of my reach.

I give Legal C Bar THREE STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the other Two Stars they would need to install an automatic entry door next to the revolving door and keep it unlocked so a person in a wheelchair can enter and exit this restaurant independently; lower a section of the bar to an accessible height so a customer in a wheelchair can enjoy a drink at the bar; and place the soap dispenser in the handicap stall in an accessible place.
