mainstreetantiquesplymouth-033.jpgMy friends and I are collectors and love to go into Antique Stores to see if they have any items of interest. We recently visited Main Street Antiques in downtown Plymouth and were very disappointed to find that only one/half of the store is wheelchair accessible. Free handicap parking is located on Main Street close by. The entry doors of Main Street Antiques are not automatic so my friend opened the door for me.

The first level of the store is wheelchair accessible and easy to view all items on display except for a small side room that has a step leading to it. The second floor of Main Street Antiques is not wheelchair accessible for there is no elevator to take me upstairs.
 
I give Main Street Antiques ONE STAR for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the other Four Stars they would need to install automatic entry doors, install a ramp at the step leading to the small room on the first level and install an elevator so persons in wheelchairs can access the upstairs of the store.
