As we continued traveling on Endinboro Street in Chinatown, we saw yet another business that I was unable to access. The New Moon Villa Restaurant is a not wheelchair accessible for it has a staircase leading up to the entry door.
Kellie went inside to ask if the restaurant has an alternate accessible entrance. To no surprise, Kellie was told there is NO accessible entrance. Kellie told Kevin and me that the owner was very kind and sensitive; he even told Kellie that he would have the waiters carry me up the stairs if I wanted to enter. I was very impressed by his sensitivity, yet it would be too dangerous for both me and the waiters to carry me up these stairs; someone could get seriously hurt.
I give New Moon Villa Restaurant ZERO STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn any Stars, they would need to install an accessible ramp or wheelchair lift. I give the owner FIVE STARS for respect, kindness and sensitivity.
