Parkers River Beach is another beautiful beach on the Nantucket sound and is located on South Shore Drive. There is a parking lot with handicap spaces up front. The cost to park here is $12 on weekdays and $15 on weekends. There is no discount for a person who has a handicap placard like our Massachusetts State Beaches and Parks have. Weekly and annual passes are available at a cost savings. There are steps leading to this beach and no ramp or slope so the beach is not at all wheelchair accessible.

Kenny and Company gives River Beach ZERO STARS. They would need to build a ramp leading to the beach and offer free or discounted parking to the disabled in order to earn any more Stars.
