Ric, Tony, my mom and I continued to stroll along Newbury Street today looking for a place that is wheelchair accessible so we could stop and have some lunch. Piattini is a café located on Newbury Street and looks like a nice place to stop for some lunch but it is not wheelchair accessible for it has stairs leading down to the entry. After seeing so many places on Newbury Street that are not wheelchair accessible we decided to head to the Prudential Center for we know it is more wheelchair friendly.
I give Piattini ZERO STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn any more Stars they would at least need to install a wheelchair lift at the stairway so a person in a wheelchair can access this restaurant.

Hello, So sorry to hear about your experience. We would love to install a Handicap lift (my own mother is in a wheel chair), HOWEVER THERE IS A WAY TO COME IN- THROUGH THE BACK ENTRANCE, AND MANY PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS USE IT.

Hi Josephine, Thanks for letting me know this. Next time my friends and I are on Newbury Street, we’ll use the back entrance to get inside. I’ve heard your food is delicious.
