squizno-sub-001.jpgAfter a good work out at Healthtrax gym, my friends and I had lunch at Quiznos Sub and did a wheelchair accessibility review of the place. There is one handicap parking space conveniently located right in front of Quiznos Sub. You may need help with opening the entry door for it is not automatic yet it is wide enough to fit any sized wheelchair. Inside is spacious and the tables are small but a good height to for me to fit with my wheelchair.

squizno-sub-002.jpgThe ordering counter is way too high so my friends placed my order for me, yet the cashier counter is a good height for my wheelchair and I completed my transaction with no difficulty. The large and spacious restroom is perfect. It has the required safety bars around the toilet and the pipes under the accessible sink are covered as is now ADA required.  The sink is a perfect height and the mirror, soap dispenser and hand towel dispenser are at a perfect height too.
 
I give Quiznos sub FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. They can earn the other Star by installing automatic doors and lower a portion of the ordering counter to a wheelchair accessible height so that a person in a wheelchair can comfortably order their food.
