ROHO seat cushions provide pressure relief and prevent pressure sores; it can even allow pressure sores to heal while sitting. It has air cells locked inside which allow my seat cushion to constantly adjust to my body movement.

roho-contoursel.jpgA few years ago, my doctor ordered a pressure mapping test of me sitting on different wheelchair seat cushions and the results showed that the ROHO was the best seat cushion which relieved the most pressure for me.

My cushion has an easy to use portable Pump and Inflation Valves with an open and lock position; once it is perfect; the air cells can be locked in place by pushing the knob to the closed position which maintains my best sitting posture for maximum function. The separated air cells allow air circulation and provide a cooling and comfortable seating surface.

ROHO makes different seat designs. I have the  ROHO Contour Select Cushion because it provides the skin protection I need plus added positioning and stability support. The contoured design positions my pelvis back in my wheelchair, and centers me comfortably in the middle of my cushion; providing me with stability by minimizing my side-to-side and front to back motion. My ROHO is easy to wash and keep clean with zip on covers which are easy to put on. I have 2 ROHO’s and 3 covers so when one is drying I have another one to use.

Since using the Roho for the past two years, I’ve had no skin or pressure issues at all and I’ve been very comfortable sitting in my wheelchairs.

I think ROHO is a FIVE STAR seat cushion! I highly recommend a ROHO seat cushion for anyone who sits in their chair all day long and has a tendency towards pressure sores. I highly recommend the ROHO Contour Select cushion if you need better position stability.
