 I love my Sabina Sit to Stand Hoyer Lift. I first looked into gett ing the a Hoyer Lift when the nursing home I was living in decided to change their policy on who could be lifted by the staff. When they did this my only option was to use a Full Body Hoyer Lift because that was the only kind they had. I found the Full Body Hoyer Lift very unpleasant to use. It stripped me of my self esteem and dignity and it was very scary to be lifted in the air with no secure feeling.

After looking at several Hoyer Lifts I decided on the Sabina lift. This lift actually has the benefit of helping me stand to get to the toilet or to get into bed or it helps me get into my recliner. It is very mobile and on wheels so it can be used in any room of my home. The Sabina Hoyer Lift helps me keep my ability to stand and use my legs when I’m in the lift.

It really helps me feel more independent. In the community I still do a stand-pivot-transfer with much help from my staff; yet in my home, I use the Sabina Hoyer Lift for it is easier for all.
