Saint Anne’s Church I visited Saint Anne’s Church a few years ago and again today. It is absolutely beautiful from the outside. I haven’t had the opportunity to see the inside for there is no wheelchair accessibility to the main Church upstairs. I was able to visit the shrine downstairs but it was quite an experience getting down there. There was a lift that looked like a small freight elevator with no walls but was capable of taking wheelchairs downstairs. A key which is needed to operate the lift was not easy to find. I needed to go to the rectory to ask for the key. The lift has only enough room for my wheelchair but my two companions did manage to squeeze in with me for they did not want me to go alone. Saint Anne’s The lift moved very slowly and sounded like a loud power tool which drew a lot of attention from the people attending a ceremony upstairs. It was very embarrassing and humiliating and is still like this today.

I give Saint Anne’s Church TWO STARS. They can earn the other Three stars by installing a ramp or an elevator to the main church and by installing a safer and more adequate elevator to the downstairs. I hear its wonderful and beautiful.
