Senator Edward Kennedy 1932 – 2009

There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss I feel over the death of Senator Edward Moore “Ted” Kennedy. I feel as though I have lost my best friend.
Senator Kennedy was a CHAMPION for us with Disabilities; he was a CHAMPION for the Sick, the Poor, the Underprivileged, Children, Education and Health Care. He spoke for us who have ‘No Voice’. He was always there to help fight for the Civil Rights of us with Disabilities.
Senator Kennedy was the Nation’s Best Senator and the World’s Best Advocate!
Much of his work has provided protections and supports so we with disabilities can be part of our communities, workplaces and schools. Senator Kennedy gave such positive and hopeful speeches and quotes. His WORDS were always INSPIRING to me.
I will be Forever Grateful to Senator Kennedy for all his Dedication, Compassion, and Hard Work for Liberty and Justice for All!!
God Bless Senator Ted Kennedy and his loving family!
May his Dream, Legacy and Work on Health Care Live On!!!!

So much of his “The Dream Shall Never Die” speech is relevant now. It makes me sad that so many Americans do not know how much it was really Senator Edward Kennedy that advanced the dreams of his brothers into reality.
I put together some of the audio of the speech, accompanied it with images and ideas that highlight some of his accomplishments, and put it into a video. The following page also has information on the 6 (of 13 or a minority) Democratic senators in the Senate Finance Committee who are holding up the Kennedy Health Care act.
