shinettisplymouth-007.jpgWhile strolling along the historic Plymouth waterfront this July 4th weekend, I was delighted to discover there is another Shinetti’s located on Water Street. I love Shinetti’s Ice Cream at 114 Water Street which is open all year round because it has delicious ice cream.

shineets-001.jpgThis Shinetti’s, located in front of The Governor Bradford Inn is also owned by Bob Shine owner of Shinetti’s Ice Cream. It’s open seasonally and sells fresh lobster rolls, burgers, chili and slush. I found it is very wheelchair friendly and accessible.

shinettisplymouth006.jpgThere is a nice wheelchair accessible sloped cement walkway leading to the take-out window. The slope is perfect and easy to wheel along plus there are railings located on both sides for added safety. The take-out window is a perfect height for my chair and I had no problem paying for refreshing slush.

It’s a great place to pick up a quick, delicious bite to eat you can enjoy as you stroll along the historic waterfront by Pilgrim Memorial State Park. Very close by is Plymouth Rock and Mayflower II .
