Sunday, my Aunt Nancy, Tony, Jowanna and I headed to the 2009 Christmas Parade in downtown Taunton. I found it a fun and exciting event that was fully wheelchair accessible. The theme of this year’s parade was ‘Celebrating Christmas Past’.
I had a great up front view of the entire parade. I loved seeing my State Representative Stephen Canessa marching by as he waved to me.
I also enjoyed seeing 8 beautiful Hallamore Clydesdale Horses who live near me at Barry’s Clydesdale Horses pulling a Hallamore carriage. One of my favorite floats was of Cinderella’s carriage being pulled by two beautiful white horses. Because I’m half Irish, I loved hearing the Irish American String Mummer Band as they marched by me. And I loved seeing the Grinch.

This year was real cool. My grandmother put together a float. It was real neat. This has parade has always been huge thing with me and my family.
