My friends and I travel to the TD Bank North located in The Pine Hill Community of Plymouth every week because it’s where CSI does their banking. Last week when we were there we decided it was time to do a wheelchair accessibility review.
The TD Bank North is a nice new building. It has handicap parking that is conveniently located right next to the sidewalk. The brick sidewalk is really nice and wide and very easy to maneuver my wheelchair along. It leads you to the front entry door. There are two double doors you need to go thru before you get inside the bank. The first leads into a foyer and the second leads into the bank. Neither of these doors are automatic so you will definitely need help with opening both set of doors.
Once inside, the bank is roomy enough for me to get my wheelchair around. There are two bank tellers behind the counter. They also help the customers at the drive thru window so you may have to wait a short time if there are a lot of cars at the drive thru window. The banking counter is really too high for a person in a wheelchair to do their banking business. But both tellers are always very helpful and courteous. The bank also has a drive thru ATM.
I give the TD Bank North THREE STARS. In order to earn the other Two Stars they would need to install automatic doors at both doors leading into the bank and provide a banking counter that is more accessible for persons in wheelchairs to do their banking business.
