After going for my workout at Healthrax Fitness & Wellness Center, my friends and I had delicious healthy lunch at Thai Taste and we were very please to find it wheelchair friendly and accessible.

Handicap parking spaces are located right in front of the wheelchair access to the sidewalk. There are two entry doors you will need help with opening because they are not automatic. The first leads into a foyer and the second leads into the restaurant.

Once inside, I found it spacious and had no problem accessing a table because there is plenty of space between the tables. This restaurant is nicely decorated and I felt like I was in Thailand. All the tables are of a good accessible height for me to comfortably fit and reach my food and drink.

A bar/lounge area is to the left of the dining room. The bar is not accessible for it is too high yet there are accessible tables in the lounge where I can sit and view the large flat screen TVs.

The bartender was very kind and told the large open area on this side is a dance floor and live bands play here often. He also told me that they are in the process of making a sushi bar. That’s great because I love sushi and will definitely come back to try it.

The food was incredibly good as I enjoyed a stir fry with shrimp in a ginger sauce and tofu. It was delicious and healthy. The employees were all helpful and kind and the service was fantastic.

The restrooms are spacious, wheelchair accessible and fully ADA compliant.

I give Thai Taste FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star they would need to install automatic entry doors so a customer in a wheelchair can enter and exit independently; and lower a section of the bar to a wheelchair accessible height. so a customer in a wheelchair can sit and enjoy a drink at the bar.
