Sunday, my Aunt Nancy, Jowanna, Tony and I stopped at The Paper Store while shopping at Wareham Crossing. The Paper Store is a family owned and operated chain of 26 Gift Stores in New England. These stores have a great assortment of unique cards and specialty gifts to choose from (i.e.) fashion accessories, bath and body products, gourmet foods, home decor, educational toys, books and a whole lot more. And the best part is it is a very wheelchair friendly and accessible place to shop.
There are plenty of handicap parking spaces located in the plaza parking lot close to the front entrance. The entry doors are not automatic so Jowanna held it open while Tony pushed my manual chair inside. Once inside I was pleased to find there is plenty of room to wheel my chair around all the items for sale; and all the aisles are plenty wide enough for my chair.
The counter tops with merchandize are all of a good height for me to reach. All the employees were kind and eager to help when needed. Tony and I spotted a delicious looking non-edible ceramic cupcake. We thought well at least here we won’t get tempted to go off our diets :-)
The Paper Store has a great selection of unique cards. My favorite was of the cards you can record your own personal message in. I bought a few of these self-recording cards for future special occasions that I can give to my family and friends. They will really be surprised when they open it and hear me!
I give The Paper Store FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star they would need to install automatic entry doors so a customer in a wheelchair can enter and exit the store independently.

Cool new wheelchair bags and backpacks, no more old looking wheelchair items.
Please check out our web-site and see if it would be of help to you.
I’m also asking for link on your blog/web-site
Thank you, for your time.
