Tuscan House The Tuscan House in Middleboro is a nice family restaurant and very wheelchair accessible. It has a wide ADA approved ramp leading to the front door. You will need assistance in opening two doors leading to the restaurant because they are not automatic.

 Once inside, the atmosphere is very nice and there is s lot of space to maneuver the wheelchair for the tables are not too close together. The tables are also very accessible as far as height. There is also a nice spacious private handicap restroom off the dining area. We did notice though that it didn’t have the new ADA  required protective covering around the pipes under the accessible sink. The food is very good and the servers are very friendly and courteous.

The Tuscan House earns FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. It could earn the Fifth Star if they install automatic doors and placed protective covering on the pipes under the accessible sink in the handicap restroom.
