After buying some fresh farm produce at Farmer’s Outlet in East Taunton, Kevin, Josh and I went to Twin River Farm to look for some spring flowering plants for my deck. Twin River Farm has a beautiful assortment of outdoor flowering plants and it’s a very wheelchair accessible place to shop.

Twin River Farm appears to be part of the Farmer’s Outlet because it is connected, yet it is a separate business. A kind employee who works here told us the main Twin River Farm is located in another town in Massachusetts and the owner rents out this space to sell his flowers.

Located in front are two handicap parking spaces. Wheelchair access is easy for it is wide open with no entry doors to open. The ground consists of hard compacted soil and I had no problem wheeling my wheelchair on it, even after the recent flooding rains here in New England.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it’s a sign spring is finally here and I love all the flowering spring blossoms which begin to appear around Easter. Twin River Farm has all the flowering plants set on tables of a good wheelchair accessible height and easy to reach. All are healthy and beautiful as well. Beautiful cut flowers for vases are also available.

The employee was very helpful, courteous and friendly. When it came time to pay for our flowers she approached my basket; counted the plants and told me what I owed. I found it very easy to complete my transaction. If you need some cheerful flowering plants for your home, I highly recommend shopping at Twin River Farm.
