Ueno Sushi located on Washington Street in Boston is fully wheelchair accessible. The entry has a sloped cement threshold which makes access for persons in wheelchairs easy. The entry door is not automatic so you will need help opening the door.
Once inside you will find plenty of room to maneuver your wheelchair around and the counter where you place your order is a good height for my wheelchair as are the tables. A single restroom is very spacious and wheelchair accessible and has the required safety bars around the toilet. The wheelchair accessible sink is at a good height but does not have the ADA required covering around the pipes underneath.
The Sushi is fresh and hand rolled and the employees are courteous and helpful.
I give Ueno Sushi Japanese Fusion Café FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the other Star they would need to install an automatic entry door and place covering around the exposed pipes under the sink located in the restroom.
