Wood’s Seafood is located in Plymouth and overlooks the historic Plymouth Harbor. I love the fresh seafood it serves. As for being wheelchair accessible, the front door ramp is OK but would be better if it were wider and if not done as a two tier ramp instead of a straight up ramp for it is difficult to make the turn halfway up. The entrance is narrow to get in. The window to order the food is too high for me but the staff where accommodating and leaned over to get my order. The space for the window in high traffic season is small, during the slow season it’s not bad and enough room, when not crowded. The dining area is very bright and the view of the ocean is nice. The tables are high enough for my wheelchair and the bathroom is very accessible and large. The food is excellent and the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
I give Woods Seafood THREE STARS. It could earn the other two stars by widening their main door and lowering a part of counter where you order the food to wheelchair height…But I do have to say, the fresh seafood is wonderful and worth the trip.
