Wood’s Seafood Restaurant is overlooks the historic Plymouth Harbor. I love the fresh seafood they serve and it is wheelchair friendly and accessible. There is a handicap parking space located right in front. An accessible ramp leads to the entry door. The entry door is not automatic so you will need help with opening.
The dining area is bright and the view of the water is beautiful. There is no air conditioning yet the open windows allow the ocean breeze to cool you off on a hot day. The tables are all of a good wheelchair accessible height and easily fit my chair. The seafood is fresh and delicious! All the employees are very kind, friendly and helpful.
The restrooms are spacious and fully wheelchair accessible.
I give Woods Seafood FOUR STARS for wheelchair accessibility. In order to earn the Fifth Star they would need to install an automatic entry door so a customer in a wheelchair can enter and exit independently. All the employees deserve FIVE STARS for their kindness and sensitivity.
